Posted by Safety Xpress on

Wheel Stop Installation Guide

If you have a property that gets high pedestrian or vehicle traffic and if you are looking to install Wheel Stops, here is a comprehensive installation guide that will help you accurately install them.

What Type of Wheel Stops Should You Consider?

Wheel Stops can add both safety and aesthetic appeal to your parking complex. A Wheel Stop alerts the driver about the designated parking zone.

Wheel Stops are highly recommended in commercial areas to maintain organised and collision-free parking facilities.

Wheel Stops are suitable for all kinds of parking complexes. They are typically used to restrict vehicles from going over the designated parking space. They can avoid inconvenience for pedestrians and can also prevent accidental collisions with other vehicles.

There are different types of Wheel Stops available from us and all of them comply with the Australian standards AS2890.1:2004.

How To Get Started?

You can start by identifying your requirements. Here are few things that can help you decide.

1. Area of installation : residential, commercial or industrial

2. Kind of vehicles : cars or trucks

3. The volume of traffic: low or high

Once you identify the right Wheel Stop, you can buy them online and get them delivered to your doorstep.

The next step is the installation of these Wheel Stops.

What Will You Need?

  • A hammer drill with a 14mm masonry drill bit
  • The M10 screw fixings supplied with the Wheel Stops.

  • A hand broom or industrial vacuum (optional)

What to Do?

Follow these simple instructions to install the Minni Wheel Stops:

1.Identify the exact place of installation.

3.Remove the Wheel Stop and clear the concrete dust in the application area.

4.Continue to drill each guide hole to an approximate depth of around 120mm.
